For a mere $5K, you too can do some landscaping work for the University of Georgia.

Wipe your feet before you go into the locker room though.

Plant some hedges.

Back in the mid/late '80s there was a high end restaurant in ATL where you would go in, pick out your steak from a case and then they would let you cook your own steak over grills in the restaurant. I asked a friend who lived in ATL at the time if they charged extra if you wanted to do your own dishes after you ate.

So rather than pay 3 staff people 20 bucks per hour for 2 days at 960 bucks, they will get 32 people to pay them 160k (minus lunch) to the university for the privilege planting privette hedge. Maybe I should try that next time I need to plant a couple hundred acres of timber

I spend an incredible amount of time trying to get rid of privet in my yard.  That shit will take over the world if left alone.

My pup's comment: I can get a hedge to install from Home Depot. You think they’d be okay if I brought my own?

Saw an article the other day that said Walmart is going to require you to be a member of Walmart+ to use their self-checkout lanes. Got a good chuckle out of that; you have to pay them to let you work for them.

That ought to go over well with the average Walmart shopper

The Athletic Association is getting about as good as Disney at separating you from your wallet.

Theft is the symptom imo; a refusal to prosecute is the cause
