Woof™..........

back after a weekend camping out in the Paulding County Woods. Went to a show at the Green Resturant in Mableton that featured several local bands. Two bothers from Gainesville Florida. Captive Coopers along with Dawn & Nash wonderful husband and wife duo that play a lot of wineries up in North Georgia. Then they had an after party hanging out at Camp Fire playing some excellent acoustic guitar mandolin  kinda an acoustic Grateful Dead vibe. Letting me join with harmonica. Till 5AM. Another big camp out party this weekend. Hippie TRD has raised some Hippie daughters.

Now they need to settle down and raise some hippie grand children.

The No. 40 Georgia men's tennis team won both of its doubleheader matches by sweeps on Sunday, defeating No. 48 Arkansas, 4-0, and The Citadel, 7-0. The Georgia Bulldogs will return to action at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on Friday, March 29 against No.16 South Carolina at 5:00 p.m. ET.

After dropping the doubles point to start, the No. 8 Georgia women's tennis team swept singles action en route to a 4-1 victory over No. 22 Tennessee at Barksdale Stadium on Sunday. The Bulldogs (12-3, 7-0 SEC) have now won 10-straight matches on the season and improved to 55-9 all-time against the Lady Volunteers (11-6, 3-4 SEC), winning each of the last 16 meetings between both programs. On Saturday night inside Gabrielsen Natatorium, during the final session of the NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, Georgia's Abby McCulloh swam the best 1,650-yard freestyle race of her life. A junior from Lilburn, Ga., McCulloh came into the NCAAs as the top seed in the 1,650. Her top time this year, 15:40.96, which she set while winning the SEC title last month, was the fastest in the country by more than four seconds. On Saturday, in the final heat of the event, with her closest challengers in the lanes on either side of her, McCulloh swam 15:37.74 to capture the national championship. It was Georgia's first individual NCAA title in women's swimming since 2016, and the first under head coach Stefanie Williams Moreno.Powered by McCulloh's performance, Georgia finished in 13th place with 116 points, improving from last year's 90-point, 16th-place finish. For the week, the Bulldogs earned 24 All-America citations, including eight First Team honors. Virginia won its fourth-consecutive team national championship with 527.50 points, followed by Texas in second with 441 and Florida in third at 364.

Graduate student Marc Minichello opened his season with a bang at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational on Saturday, moving into the No. 11 spot on the all-time collegiate javelin performance list to lead the way for the Georgia track and field teams in Florida. Minichello earned one of four Georgia victories at the Miami-hosted meet, recording a mark of 82.32 meters/270 feet, 1 inch to better his No. 2 javelin throw in school history. Junior Elena Kulichenko (high jump), sophomore Aaliyah Butler (200 meters), freshman Micah Larry (long jump), and the men's 4x400-meter relay team of Jordan McKenzie, Jehlani Gordon, Larry, and Christopher Morales Williams also won their respective event in the opening meet of the outdoor season for Georgia's sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, and throwers. The Bulldogs will split the squad for the first time this outdoor season next weekend. The distance runners will participate in the Raleigh Relays from March 28-30 while the rest of the team travels to LSU to compete in the Battle on the Bayou on March 29-30.

Have a great week.

I seem to be getting a later start to my day lately and I'm actually loving it! In any case, good morning Uncle John! Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend. This thing with TE (former gator) is not good no matter how it unfolded. We all remember very well what happened not all that long ago with the death of 2 young people (one of which was a UGA FB player) from an auto accident that apparently involved speed and drinking. I bet Kirby and staff are smoking hot about it.

That's all I have to say about that. I hope everyone has a great week!
