There was a Kevin Jackson who... I think... was a DL at UGA in the early-1980s. He played high school football at Cartersville High School. But when he was younger he lived in Rockmart. We were the same age and played Little League baseball together one or two years.
I found his obituary and it says he grew up in Cartersville. I believe this might be the guy I am thinking about. Kevin Catfish Jackson

He was a friend of Lewis Grizzard, and ended up being a big fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. He was also the guy that would present the Governor’s Cup to the winner of the Georgia-Georgia Tech football game. |
