It's typical Falconing. The kid would have gone here without injuries, but you could have traded back and gotten him too. At least he played at a D-1 school.

That's the kind of pick that screws up a franchise. Not that they're not already screwed up.

The only way this is a good pick is if there is a trade incoming.

Reports are Cousins is stunned as well. He was told that there would be a QB taken, just not this high.

Yes, you can imagine he expected such a high draft pick would be used to fix another team weakness rather than come in to compete with him.  I hate the Falcons, they have a long history of perplexing picks in the draft.  And just all out stupid decisions.  They have proven many times that they aren't worth the time, energy, or heartache it takes to be a fan.
