How did the ticket office sell so many baseball tickets so fast
#1
for the super regional?

I’ve been a football season ticket holder for 26 years and had no chance at getting tickets.

Do we sell than many baseball season tickets, so many that Hartman donors had no shot at tickets?

I think it may have been first come, first serve for any 'extra' tickets. For the people that are baseball season ticket holders for all they suffer through, they damn well deserve
the first tickets all day long. Half the time most of the seats are empty except for those who bought season tickets and feel wasteful not going.

No doubt baseball season ticket holders should have first priority.

I just don’t see how season ticket holders bought what appears to be 90-95% of available tickets.

I'm not an expert but I would guess we have to offer some number to the visiting teams.  I do know regular season games can be difficult to get tickets for so I think Georgia baseball has a pretty good following right now.

Foley Field needs to seat at least 8K instead of under 4K

If we can be consistently good at baseball, 8K makes sense.  Until then, Foley is probably big enough.  Chicken's baseball stadium seats 8.5K and baseball is probably their #2 sport behind WBB.  They had a lot of empty seats this year and have struggled to fill it up for a few years now.

There's an expansion coming.  Not sure how many seats it may be adding, but it's phase 2 and starts after this weekend.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a different fund baseball season ticket holders contribute too.
