Ticket fees are out of control.
#1
I know higher fees aren't unique to the ticket bidness, but that in particular is out of control.

I just looked at a couple of tickets on stubhub for the kickoff game.  The tickets were listed at $292 each, which is already obscene, but for decent tickets on the UGA side, these were pretty reasonable.  The fees from Stubhub were $105 each.  That's almost 36% of the resale ticket price.  Enough to make me stop my purchase.

The final cost for those two seats with that bullshit fee and taxes would have been $865.

We stopped purchasing season tix (any tix for that matter) after the 2019 season. We had planned on going out to S. California for the game against UCLA but, that's obviously a no starter now. Oh well...

Tick Pick has no fees but the prices are jacked up a bit.

Why I've basically given up on going to games these days, would rather watch at home.

I did get to go to 5 games last year, but only paid for 2 of them.  Other tickets were free.

Everyone has their limit on what they are willing to pay.  I'm not willing to pay more than about $100-150 to see a game I can watch on tv.  I know I won't get in to a lot of games but it simply isn't worth it to me.

fees seem to be the way businesses sucker people in these DAZE.
AirBnB is insane with that crap.

You can set a filter on the ticket sites to include fees when looking at tickets. I've saved a little by doing that on Stubhub, Ticketbastard, and Seat Geek when picking between the 3 to buy tickets.

And this will make the Magill people very, very happy!!
Your fantastic 35 years of generous donations and ticket purchases will be sadly, but quickly forgotten.
I’m at about 40 years season ticket holder, will do it for a few more, but when I hang it up, I know for a fact the school couldn’t care less.

What exactly should they do when you decide to quit buying tickets?  If enough people stop buying them, they will adjust prices or the number of seats to sell..

My limit is even lower. I’ve never given more than $60 for a ticket for a game that will be on TV.
