Former Bulldog Sepp Straka from Austria opened Olympic play tied for sixth after the first round on Thursday at Le Golf National.

The Olympic track and field program begins Friday with multiple Bulldogs competing at Stade de France. 

Estonian Bulldogs Johannes Erm, Janek Oiglane, and Karel Tilga will compete in the first five events of the decathlon (100m, long jump, hammer throw, shot put, high jump, and 400m).

Denzel Commenentia of the Netherlands will compete in the hammer throw.

Elena Kulichenko of Cyprus and Tatiana Gusin of Greece get going in the high jump. 

The day concludes with American Keturah Orji starting competition in the triple jump.

Incoming transfer Ieva Maļuka of Latvia competes in the women's swimming 200-meter individual medley .
