I have a no-name pair I use for working in the garden. Easy to wash off after working in the dirt.

Never wear them away from the house.

I do have a couple pair of Luna sandals I wear away from the house when dressing casually.

Don’t let your common sense override things that are beneficial for the progress of man. We all need to do our part. Hell, my own damn mama got a pair of those stupid things and I thought ‘has the whole damn world gone apeshit crazy?’

I have a pair but I don't find them really comfortable. I don't like how they move around on my feet. I wear them as something to slip on to walk outside for a few minutes but I don't wear them for anything else.

I don't know what your foot problem is, but zero rise, wide toe box shoes from Hobibear and zero rise sandals from Luna and Xero have eliminated most of my foot pain.

These from Xero are also a good closed toe shoe.
