A trio of Georgia golfers posted top-10 individual finishes to headline the Bulldogs' performance at the UAB Hoover Invitational, which concluded on Tuesday. Chantal El Chaib, who was competing individually, finished third; Morgan Smith tied for fifth; and Kate Song tied for 9th on the individual leaderboard as Georgia placed fourth in the team field at Hoover Country Club. The Bulldogs will be back in action in two weeks when they compete in the Windy City Collegiate Classic. Bulldog junior safety Malaki Starks was named to the 2024 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team on Tuesday.  Starks is one of 11 players from the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) selected based on their commitment to community service. Georgia leads the nation in Allstate AFCA Good Works Team honorees with 24 since the award's inception in 1992, including 19 since 2000.
