Gonna beat this dead horse one more time too!...the GameDay experience seems...
#1
to decline by the week.   Someone was right here and I was wrong...Baba O' Riley is still being played...they've just taken almost all the words out.    I guess "Teenage Wasteland" is too edgy...It's way worse than "Superman that Hoe" and some of the other rap.

They can't even NOT screw up the sing along stuff anymore.

I'm all for the band...but, the songs and the production are awful.   "Frankenstein"??  Okay...

I'm also curious: For those who attend other schools' games, is someone being awarded something every time out? I feel like we've gotten to the point where I don't even know what the awards are for. At least one Saturday, I had no clue what the award was.

Hell, we didn't even get the Larry munson/Herschel/Bill Bates video Saturday.   It was a mess!

I'm all for having a DJ...how about he doesn't play over the refs announcement?   How about he plays songs at least the students know?

I'll tread lightly here...but, the Spike Squad and the other two "student groups" are a sad shell of what they once were.   I'm pretty sure I understand why and I think it's part of the same reason the experience is lacking.

I'll be the first to admit, I think these things aren't as noticeable when the team is the main attraction.   But, when you go to a bar and your girl isn't the prettiest one there, it's natural to look around.   (Thankfully, I haven't been in that spot for 30 years).

All trHe. They need professional help. No more local yokels on a keyboard. The group that did the Duke Mayo Georgia Clemson game is fantastic and they work with around 12 teams nationwide. We need the pros to come in and jack up Sanford

I think you nailed it.   We need someone to come in and produce it that knows what they’re doing.

You mentioned the Spike Squad….saw where they called out the fraternities/sororities for being too quiet, uninvolved, then leaving super early! No idea of that’d do any good, but it’s a start. I’ve long thought these rich, pampered little snots just got in the way. Too often, they just emulate their snobby parents who just want to relive their college glory days again.
Bah!!!

Yeah, sore point for me.  I’m one of those that has a kid there in a fraternity.  The fraternities and sororities were there before the spike squad.     They get to the games super early and pack the student section.   Shame on the woke spike squad for calling them out.    Greeks represent 20% of the student population.    So, what about the other 80%?    Why not call them all out?

If it weren’t for the Greeks the student section would be far less full.

The spike squad needs to look in the mirror.    The bushy hairs and whatever that other very group in the sport coats are are horrible.

Please don't be hatin' on Edgar Winter. The "Frankenstein" arrangement by the Red Coats took me back to when I was selling programs in Sanford for a dollar each back in the 70s. I must have heard "Age of Aquarius" 15 times as a first as a Boy Scout usher and then selling programs

I heard that the Greeks are able to buy tickets in larger groups. So when they show up late and / or leave early it makes the student section look pitiful at times. Again, this is only what I heard recently.

Frats should still all wear ties to the games.  I don't know when that stopped but I always thought it was cool.

Greeks seem to be about like all other students as far as staying or leaving.  If the game is compelling, they stay.  If the game is boring, they leave.  It isn't only students, lots of alumni and regular ticket holders leave early when the game is not interesting.

The sport coat group looks like the "DEI Nerd Squad".

Nailed it on the sport coat group.     The fraternity’s get split tickets just like everyone else.   They may get a few together but, it’s all different games and only small pledge classes sit in them.

Kinda agree on the shirt and tie thing.    But, that’s been gone for a while.

Also totally agree that the Greeks aren’t any different than the rest of the student body.
