We had enough points with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter?

Who would have ever thought that? I can see why we went more vanilla in the 2nd half..

I will say that drive when they pulled to within 8 was MONEY.  Anyone who thinks otherwise is a nut.

If we had caught the early drops, score could have been 35-0 in the second quarter…

The UGA TD drive after Texas scored after the bottle throwing was 100% badly needed. Things might have gotten real tough if UGA didn't score. The defense came ready to play better than any game this season. The offense did enough but, did NOT play very well. Texas is a very good FB team and had a lot to do with that. You are correct about the drops...they are a huge concern and took Beck and the entire offense off their game.

So far this season, the offense just hasn't gotten it's act together. Interceptions and an inconsistent running game are at the center of the lack of performance. The week off could help...I certainly hope so. You can bet the gators are going to give the upcoming game all they can. Dawgs are clearly the better team. But we all know that doesn't always guarantee a win.

I'll be at St. Simons.  Haven't decided whether or not I'm going to the game or watching on St. Simons.  Traffic getting out of downtown Jax after the game has made going to the game less fun than it used to be.  Two years ago we didn't get back to St. Simons until around 12:00.

I seriously doubt I’ll attend the game, Fernandina has put it on a big screen outside in the past…

Kirby knows fairly early in games whether or not his defense can lose and pretty much how many pts it'll take. he's always done that. frankly i love it. he wants to watch his defense hunt like most people want to see a shitload of points. over the past 5 yrs or so i've gotten the same way. i love watching our defense take over a game the other night or tenn 2022.

get yo ass down to Fernandina. i'll be there next wednesday

We'll have a big tv and a balcony overlooking the Village and the pier on the main drag.  The balcony is a great hottie observation post as they walk up and down the sidewalk.

Friday night we plan on having a little band playing on the balcony, weather permitting.  My buddy knows the main guy in the band from Statesboro somehow, some black country singer guy and another couple backup guys.  We might walk down to within a hundred yards or so of Frat Beach on Friday to check out the drunk show.  I'm way too old to get close to the main group without looking like a total creeper.  We will hang out near the King and Prince and observe.
