ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs (3-0) defeated the North Florida Ospreys (3-1), 90-77, on Tuesday night at Stegeman Coliseum. Six scorers saw double figures led by junior forward RJ Godfrey's second career double-double, notching career highs of 23 points and 12 rebounds. The Bulldogs will go on the road for the first time in the regular season when they face in-state rivals Georgia Tech on Friday, Nov. 15 with tipoff set at 8 p.m. ET at the McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Junior safety Malaki Starks has been included as one of 20 semifinalists for the Chuck Bednarik Award given to the outstanding collegiate defensive player of the year, according to an announcement Tuesday. This marks the eighth straight year that a Bulldog has been a Bednarik semifinalist, including 2021 when Jordan Davis won the honor.

ATHENS, Ga. – For his performance against NC State, University of Georgia junior swimmer Ruard van Renen was named Southeastern Conference Men's Co-Swimmer of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. The Cape Town, South Africa native turned in season-best B-cut times as he swept the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Beau Gardner has been included as one of 10 semifinalists for the Patrick Mannelly Award given to the top snapper in the FBS, according to an announcement late Monday.
Gardner, a UCLA graduate transfer from San Francisco, Calif., is one of six players from the Southeastern Conference represented. This marks the Bulldogs' first semifinalist for the accolade in the award's six-year existence.
