Years & Years ago…when I just got out of high school, my buddy, Charles, wanted me to go to downtown Augusta with him to go into the “World Famous” Discotheque Lounge!!
He said he had just been there the week before and wanted me to go with him.  Told him I wasn’t sure because I’d never been to a strip joint.  Charles badgered me until I said yes.
The whole way down there, my nervousness was showing and I kept asking Charles how many times he’s been.  Once.  If the girls were good looking.  He didn’t remember…not really.  As we walked to the door, I asked Charles again and he said he’d only been there ONCE.
Next thing I know, we walk in and all at once, I heard about 5 or 6 of the dancers yell out “CHARLIE!!!!!”!

Yeah….he may’ve been there once, but they got to know ol’ Charlie real quick!!

Discotheque in the 90’s had Ms Legs..she was a legend. Jokers Lounge had Cass back then, buddy of mine used to hook up with her, she was crazy. The Marine room was legendary for cheap beer and women that wood let you get handsy at the tables.
