part of it, I'd assume

Presumably was not getting 1-2 round feedback. He will make way more year one in NIL than he would as a 3rd round pick, and he will probably end up getting drafted higher because of it next year too.

I don't see any way he'd be a first or second round pick, he really isn't that good, Brock and Ladd made him look much better than he really was last season.  He consistently throws behind or over receivers.  I was never enamored of him in any way.  I'm not saying good riddance but I don't really care that he is leaving.

I do think he probably wants to go somewhere that doesn't base its entire offensive philosophy around screen passes and runs between the tackles.

He wants to go to Miami to be with his girl.

I'm fine with it.

I think he is a pretty good qb, good at making adjustments and getting the ball out. I will say I expected more from him on deep throws, and he never really connected on any. Gunner had couple of great throws in Sugar Bowl, especially to Arian down the sideline. Led him just right, something Carson rarely did.
Although the offensive line didn't show it in the Bowl game, seems like the players liked Gunner more and supposedly would play harder for him.

Seems like there may have been a disconnect with the team in general this season.

Well, Bye. Guessing with all the WR talent coming in there's not enough NIL left to pay his Lambo bill.

I hope Stockton or Puglisi steps up big time.
