Athens Country Club was established in 1926.

I tend to think that is just a mistake by the shirt maker. That particular bulldog logo and red power G didn't come into play until the mid/late 90s when Jim Donnan was there. There are several responses in that post about things that came about in 1926 such as:
Swimming & Diving team
Boxing
Lacrosse
Blackfriars dramatic club
the first nursery school
blue key honor society
the establishment of the pharmacy school
accreditation for the Terry College
the hedges (after the 1926 rose bowl)

I don't think anyone was looking for a shirt to celebrate any of those in the 90s.
