I think the thermocouple just went bad, but I'll get into that later today.

Sometimes i heat water on the smoker then bathe in ithas a nice aroma for the ladies

Thermocouple is a fairly easy fix, it it may be trying to tell you something..

That was the first failure on mine. Leak came shortly after I replaced it.

Lol. Gas is definitely still on, but that thought came to mind.  The pilot in my ventless fireplace is also out, so maybe they cycled a valve somewhere.  Anyway, I’m going to get into it and see if anything looks bad inside.  Easy fix, but I’ll definitely start planning for the replacement.

damn off the shelf universal thermocouple doesn't work in my water heater.  I had to order one for delivery today.  In the meantime, I've gotten my first estimate for replacement.  I sent that guy right on his way because it was out of control.
