Spend as much time with her as you can. One of the worst days of my life.

Losing my dad was rough! There were questions I had to ask him the day after he died, that’s when it hit me, I can’t do that anymore. I’m sorry for any that have lost one or both parents. When both are gone it has to be really tough. Thankfully they raised us to stand in our own.

No good time to lose a parent.   Dad was pretty young, age 55, when lifestyle choices, smoking and lots of really bad for a body food, had him die during his second quadruple bypass operation.

Mom made it to 83, but really dementia had taken her several years earlier.  She didn't know who I was the last 3 years.

Praying for you and your family. I lost my Mom as a young man, soon to be 33 years ago. I miss her everyday.

I realized the moment she passed how blessed I had been to have had a Mother that had loved me unconditionally and that had told me and showed me that she loved me everyday of my life. I will carry that with me for the rest of my days. I know your Mom loved you in the same way. Carry that blessing in your heart and let that love shine on your family. That's how she would want you to live.

Grateful you had that to pass along to your kids. Great advice. Death sucks, but our long term goal is to see our loved ones in heaven one fine day.
