I may be wrong, but it seems like Fran Tarkenton is rarely associated with the Dawgs. I wasn’t around when he played in Athens, but I saw him for years in NFL. He was a good pro for a long time.

Murray by stats. Stafford by NFL standards.
I'm kinda partial to Johnson as he was QB when I arrived at UGA.

Got it. I still think we should promote him more as a DGD. I just don’t see it happening and wonder the reason.

Fran hasn't been the most loyal supporter of UGA over the years. He moved on from college and didn't really stay connected with Georgia. I met his daughter in Athens, we were both students at the same time and she said he never came back for any games or anything really. He was an SAE at Georgia if that tells you anything. |
