Otherwise he would have to wait until December and that aint gonna happen.

Also we have to run a scholly player off to make room. Who do we do dirty to make room iyo?

Won’t disagree on the timing.. but to get a guy like Downs, I’d be willing to move at least 3/4 of the players on scholly to make him a spot.

cant xfer in the april portal within the conference. And while there is an extended portal opening now for bama players, you have to get the enrolled as students to participate in spring training.

That window for us ends at the close of bidness on Friday, and wont open again until December as things currently stand.

Was not aware about no in conference xfers in April. Maybe CKS had some inside info on this event happening and has already talked with Downs ( reaching and hoping here)

I suspect that the University President / Registrar, etc. could waive that Friday deadline and allow for a brief extension into next week if they chose to do so.
