Well it seems like it’s been Bama week for 100 years now.  Finally, we are hours away from the Tide making their second trip to Athens since 2008. But that clock has stopped and will not move. This contest has become synonymous with SEC championships and playoff implications.  But honesty compels one to say Bama has had the better end of the stick.  The Dawgs have managed to redeem a loss to Bama and turn that into a National Championship.  They also survived a loss to Bama to make the playoffs last year.  But a loss to Bama prevented a 3 peat. And it’s the only real blemish on Kirby Smart’s stellar win loss record.
We come into the game bruised, battered and bleeding.  No one needed an off week more than us.  We somehow won a game in Knoxville in a Shootout war kind of thing, while Bama was naming their score against a Power 5 school.  Bama’s QB hasn’t thrown an incompletion since the Carter Administration.  Their Wideouts are frightening.  Fast, tall, and sticky hands.
The Dawgs counter that with talented but young DBs who were victimized repeatedly in Knoxville. We can’t seem to pressure the QB and that has to change Saturday night for the Dawgs to win. We also have an offensive line that is patchwork at best.  We’ve got to get some protections cleaned up, or Bama will have a field day in our backfield.
Our QB looks like a gamer and a leader of men.  Hopefully, we can find a way again this Saturday night.  The Dawgs are going to need the fans to be a factor if we are going to find a way to conquer this behemoth.
This one should go a long way to determining who is in Atlanta at the end of the year and maybe even bigger playoff positioning.  Don't think this isn't big.
