Ain't that the truth. Could barely find a Southern grown peach last year. Those they truck in from the West are trash.

Big peach farm next door. Think they’ll be OK. Nothing blooming for a while. They also need “chill hours”. Hours under 40 deg., iimc.

Yep, they need a certain number of hours below freezing to maximize the crops.  Its the late freezes that kill the peach crop, a good cold winter only helps them.
