ATHENS, Ga. — Rylie Theuerkauf and Dani Carnegie shot for over 50 percent from behind the arc and scored in double figures to lead the Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team to a 78-44 win against USC Upstate and a 3-0 start to the season.  The Georgia Lady Bulldogs will have their first road contest in Orangeburg, South Carolina on Thursday night against the South Carolina State Bulldogs. 

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia soccer team was awarded a No. 8 seed in the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship, earning a fourth consecutive postseason bid for the first time in program history. No. 19 Georgia (10-4-6, 6-1-3 SEC) will play in the Notre Dame quadrant of the bracket and will face Ohio State on Friday, Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. at the Turner Soccer Complex.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Junior PK Peyton Woodring has been named the Southeastern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week after the Bulldogs' 41-21 rout at Mississippi State, according to a league announcement. Woodring drilled a 49-yard field goal and a 46 yarder to add to the Bulldogs' total during Georgia's win.

MAUI, Hawaii - Georgia freshman JD Culbreth shoot a school-record 61 in the second round of the Ka'anapali Classic in Maui, Hawaii. Over 18 holes on the Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course, Culbreth made a 4 on a hole eight times, made a 3 nine times, and made a 2 on one of the par-3s. His 10-under round didn't include a five on the scorecard, but he did have a bogey, making a four on the par-3 second hole, his 16th hole of the round. The Bulldogs' won't return to tournament play until Feb. 9, when they compete in the Puerto Rico Classic.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — No. 28 Aysegul Mert remained undefeated in the 2025 ITA Conference Masters Singles Championship going 4-0n on the week, taking home the title, and reserving her spot in the NCAA Singles Championship next week.

ATHENS, Ga. - Fifth-ranked Georgia (8-1, 6-1 SEC) finishes the SEC regular season Saturday when it plays host to No. 10 Texas (7-2, 4-1 SEC) for the first time in Athens. Kickoff will be at 7:30 pm on ABC. UT holds a 4-3 edge in the series history. The first meeting came in the 1949 Orange Bowl (UT won 41-28 in Miami).

The Bulldogs are 8-0 against top 10 ranked opponents Between the Hedges under Kirby Smart. C.J. Allen (75 tackles, 6 TFL, 3.5 Sacks) leads the SEC with 8.3 tackles per game.
