Lol. Good story. I must not have really paid attention, or had otherwise forgotten that he agreed to take the South Carolina job and then reconsidered a few days later.

Reminds me of how we really dodged a bullet when Glen Mason decided to stay at Kansas.

Nah.  He coached at Kansas for another season where he went 4-7, then went to Minnesota for 10 seasons where he went a collective 64-57.

Nah.  He coached at Kansas for another season where he went 4-7, then went to Minnesota for 10 seasons where he went a collective 64-57.

That is what happens when you choose mediocrity, people forget you.  Whomp-whomp!
