I’m not saying he’d be my first choice, but, Belichick would not be an awful choice…

For one he knows how to win.   6 super bowls?   Falcons don’t even understand that knowledge.

And two, he actually likes to draft UGA players.    There would be no better way to get me to watch the Falcons again than to put 4-5 of our Dawgs on that team.   I suspect that would be true for many.    I mean, hell, you’ve easily got 300k Georgia fans in the state, why not take advantage of that?

They’ll end up with someone like Raheem Morris and I’ll go back to forgetting they existed.

Trading the No. 8 pick for Justin Fields would be the most Falcon thing ever.

I agree with all of that. Especially about McKay. But can anyone tell me why a coach like BB would even consider the Coons. One of thee worst organizations in sports history.

I don’t think Blank wants to win necessarily. He makes just as much $ with a shitty team as a good one. He started out well with Atlanta United but TaTa Martinez the head coach left and it went to shit. Big splash up front to draw interest followed by mediocrity. He has a big yacht and tons of money but sucks as a team owner. Not committed to excellence!

81 years old - has more money than he can spend before his life runs out. Think he wants a ring now......

I don’t follow the Falcons that closely to know this but who makes the roster? That is who I think should take the blame for this year’s disappointing season. Who left the team with no real option at QB?

I don’t think Blank and McKay and their puppet GM would relinquish control to Belichick. And he knows that. The club also confirmed that they interviewed Harbaugh today. I’d rather have him, honestly.

i wonder how many championships BB woulda won w/o Brady. no doubt a good coach but he may not have won a single super bowl. and the oldest coach to win a Super Bowl is Bruce Arians. Guess who his QB was
"And screw florida and the mule they came in here on" - Erk Russell.
