This is making the rounds on several Facebook UGA pages. I cannot attest to its accuracy.

Lisfranc is in the foot. But, looks sorta legit. It does typically carry an 8 month rehab.

He’s done for this season…

Facebook is full of fake garbage. I'll be worried if Kirby says he is day to day.

I just pulled up his facebook page.  He's pretty active, and this post doesn't exist.  He could have messaged it to someone else, but I would suspect his proximity to the program would give him better judgement than to release info like this if the team isn't doing it.

He did get his ankle retaped and went back into the game in the first half and didn't show up in a boot until after halftime, so I have no expectation of seeing him on the field this week.  Either way, the team's success does not depend on this one dude.

We had 186 of our 260 totals yards in the first half. Not sure the timing on when he went out in that equation but I can assure you that he is more important than your statement suggests.
At least there is a week for the backup guys to take snaps with the starters.

There was a noticeable difference in the blocking without him in there. Of course it would help if some others on the OL were healthy.

Another factor to consider is the staff will have this week to scheme around the sitch.  That's the good news.  The bad news is the Bama NT Keenan is as good as we've faced this year.

I was not trying to downplay his importance to our gameplan.  I went back and looked at what Toliver did and he actually played pretty well.  I also knew that without Bobo, we had 11 rushing yards, but this is a team sport.  Like JC says, we have a week to figure out a solution, but I'm just trying to not say the sky is falling because one dude went down.
