Love seeing Bama get hammered, but, I just can't muster the hate for them...

that I have for Auburn and Florida (even UT).

I know the media has made us rivals of late, but, I can't deny the previous 50+ years of them not really being a rival.

In fairness, I have more admiration than hate for them.

Now, WHEN this same exodus happens to SunBelt Billy it will be more glorious.  Of course, they don't currently have a roster to poach.

Will be interesting to see how much patience UT has with their dough boy when he doesn't make the 12 team playoff.

I've never been a hater of Bama and recently I just came to accept Saban as the GOAT. UT has moved into the slot of football "hate" for me. I creep one of their boards sometimes and the deranged thinking is unreal. They were talking just the other day about where they would be seeded in next years playoff. Personally, I think Chum-Lee's seat gets very warm after this year. Not Beamer warm but could get uncomfortable.

Anyone against us I can summon up Mountain Feud Hate at a moments notice. I hate those Gumps. Eff em and feed em beans.
I can appreciate what Saban accomplished but I am cheering him on into retirement and wish he'd have been gone last year so we could have made the playoffs.

I don't care for some of their fans - the trashy trailer park crowd that doesn't have any actual relationship to the university. But you have to respect them as a program. Saban is the actual GOAT for coaches, and Bear has to be somewhere high on that list. Top 10 at worst, probably top 5. They've won a legit NC every decade of my life other than the 80s. They don't accept mediocrity - we don't either - but they don't accept very good either. They have always expected excellence. 30 years of us thinking running the highest ethical program possible would translate into success for the university was vastly misguided. We are rated higher academically than either Alabama or Auburn, but the difference is attributable to the incoming student potential rather than anything the athletic programs have done. Auburn's many academic scandals had no lasting impact to the university.

Having grown up in the shadows of the joke by coke, I have to say that I hate the jerkets most of all and it’s not even close. 2nd for me is Florida then UT, then Clemson, but the hillbillies are more obnoxious these days and getting worse…

I'm with you DawgNatty. I haven't ever really had HATE for fBama. I'd say I've been more tired of them because they've been so good for so long. Saban is without a doubt the GOAT and I can't help but admire the program he built over there. I hate losing to them but I don't really hate them like a rival. The Bama fans I know are all alumni so they are generally good people who aren't obnoxious. I'm sure if I lived in Columbus instead of Augusta I'd know more Bama fans who had never set foot on their campus and I'd probably have a higher hate level for them.

That said; my hate for tech, AU, SC, UF, UT and Clemson is probably unhealthy for me. I know a lot of younger Georgia fans don't have the burning hate for tech like I do but they didn't grow up around tech people or live when the game was actually a competitive game every year.

Living in NWGA just outside Chattanooga dealing with Bama and Viles sidewalk fans with an average of a 6th grade edumacashun has made hate for all things Crimson and Creamsicle very easy my whole life. One of my fondest wishes would be to see both teams 5-7 or worse (and bowl ineligible) for the next 2 decades and have all stores have to ship unsold Crimson and Creamsicle clothing to poor kids in Africa.

In answer to Toasty, no, not Techwood…our neighborhood was about 3 miles NW of campus as the crow flies, off Howell Mill Rd., and our church was just up the street from Techwood (in the late 40s and 50s Techwood was used a lot for Tech married housing and many of them attended our church). Church and the neighborhood were full of Tech students and alumni…my Dad would drive thru Techwood every Sunday and Wednesday p.m. to pick up Tech students that needed a ride to church…it was a different era for sure.
