I hate them both but since I rarely see a Miami fan, I'll pull for Miami to win. HHI is bursting at the seams with Ohio bastards and I wish them no joy at all.

That is a fact.    Oddly enough, the reason we go there is because of my Ohio in-laws, they live in HH plantation.    MIL is an OSU grad, but she doesn’t even know where she’s at…sadly.    FIL is just a horses ass and has gotten worse in the last few years.    I truly loathe OSU.    

It’s kind of gross how many OSU flags there are all over HHI.

I like HHI.  I've been going there since around 1972 so I've seen a lot of change.  The whole Ohio thing really took off around 20 years ago.  Apparently, HHI is a pretty direct trip from Cincinnati.  I guess a lot of Ohio vacationers fall in love with the place and decide to retire there.  

I like driving around with my "G" sticker on my car.  It has to be a burr under the saddle of all the OSU fans.

So, I know the answer to this one.    Apparently, when HHI became a destination in the mid-70’s they were running non-stop adds in the Cleveland area.   There’s like 3-4 families of friends of my in laws that all bought places there.   It got worse when the next generation of Ohio residents doubled down on the location.    

We’ve been going for ~34 years.    Wife’s family bought a place in Palmetto dunes in ‘74.
