I watched curling. US vs. Some country I don’t remember. It was riveting, but at least it wasn’t nfl halftime.
What I watched of the game, I enjoyed. Reminded me of UGA defense from 21/22 era…smothering.

I went to bed after the 3rd quarter. I value my sleep.
Like almost all halftime shows, for me it was “meh”; primarily because I’m indifferent to the music, artist, genre. The visual performance was Ok, I guess. I had no expectations so I just didn’t care.
The last Super Bowl halftime show I remember even mildly caring about watching was Prince almost 20 years ago; maybe U2 back in 2002, I think.
I’m not saying it could NEVER happen, but for the most part if have any butthurt about who plays the halftime show of the Super Bowl, I probably need to do some serious self-reflection.

Game was boring. The T USA halftime show was refreshing.

It appears that the NFL is steering away from it’s base in the US and catering to global influences.
They can have it.

I watched maybe 20 minutes of play scattered over a couple of hours, fairly boring defensive battle from what I saw. I saw none of the halftime show. I'm glad a UGA grad won a Super Bowl as head coach (learned about that this morning).
This sums up my Super Bowl LX experience.

Seattle’s defense was impressive. I’m not one who needs to see a lot of scoring to be interested. I appreciate solid fundamentals. That CB for the Patriots had himself a game from what I saw. I did miss the 4Q, though. It was clear the Pats were willing to take a few risks on D but it wasn’t enough.
While I much prefer college football due to the way I grew up, I like watching the Super Bowl and the NFL in general because I appreciate the level of play of the athletes. They are the best in the world. That stated, if it ended tomorrow I’d find something else.
In my opinion the NFL is the best operated / managed professional sport. There were so many good teams and competitive games this past season.
Not a fan of the new kickoff rule, but I don’t have to agree with everything to enjoy most of it.

I agree about the level of play of the athletes being much better. I have a hard time watching NFL football because of the lack of passion of the players in the regular season. I feel like I'm watching people at their jobs. They want to do a good job but they are really only there for the money. Sadly, I think this is going to describe college football in the very near future.
I agree the NFL is well run. However, I think they have gone off the rails on the woke preaching side. I watch sports to be entertained, not to be told how I should think or live. I'm very much of the "shut up and play ball" mindset.
I agree 100% on that silly kickoff thing. I really hadn't seen it until last night. Why bother? Set the ball on the 20 or 25 and blow the whistle to start play.

I guess I’m not observant enough or knowledgeable enough to understand how passionate the players are during the game.

I do believe $ tends to invoke complacency in many situations.

Couldn’t bring myself to watch any part of the Super Bowl or halftime. MsToccoa flipped on the TPUSA show, but watched it on her iPad.

Those folks in the ghillie suits crack me up. What even was any of that.
Doing a show for television, instead of the crowd in the stadium is dumb.

Macdonald has been a defensive coach his entire career. Was a GA under Grantham to start it all.

I’d just be happy / grateful to be at the Super Bowl because that would mean I scored free tickets. Lord knows I wouldn’t pay the $ to be there.
