And the tiger woods “The Loop” par 3 course.   Amazing what Augusta National money can do.  Came within one stoke of tying the loop course record.  Lots of fun

As long as ANGC doesn't let the city of Augusta manage and maintain the course, it will remain one of the best municipal courses in America. If the city gets its hands on it, it will revert to being a dump almost instantly.

Going to be interesting to see what they do with Forest Hills. BITD would play there for $5 a day with a student ID. You could play 2 or 3 balls at a time because it was empty in the morning thru mid day. Good memories, except for the time I almost got struck by lightning playing during a thunder storm. Oh to be young and dumb again. Damn better than being old and dumb.

Rumor going around that ANGC is going to take on Forest Hills and make it the site of the first two days of the women's amateur tournament.  Who knows how much truth is in that?  The school owns it now but I'm sure they would be more than happy to let ANGC come in and do their magic.

Forest Hills is a nice layout, Donald Ross course built in 1926, redesigned by Arnold Palmer in 2004 but 13 of the original holes remain.  You can really tell it was built before golf carts existed and golf was a walking game.  The greens and the next tee boxes are literally steps away from each other.
