Pneumonia and bronchitis suck

Finally, I seem to be on the road to recovery, but still congested and coughing a bit.  Started back in October with a cold that would not go away, and just kept getting progressively worse.  Chest X-ray clear, bloodwork normal, went through 4 rounds of antibiotics and a round of prednisone and still couldn’t shake it.  Doctor finally ordered a Cat Scan and pneumonia and bronchitis diagnosed.  New antibiotic and heavier dose of prednisone and I think I’m finally getting better.  Chest X-ray and pulmonary function test scheduled for tomorrow.  So, we will see if lungs are clear.

Damn, I sure hope you feel better soon. There seems to be so much of that going around.

I've got a theory on it...and I'll tread lightly with it here. I think we are in a new age where there are so many versions of respiratory viruses going around our bodies have little defense.

It's hard to find someone who isn't carrying around some version of the sniffles or sinus stuff. My sinuses haven't been clear in months.
