Went to Athens to watch this in person with my son CovidDawg. We had a blast! Wish more people were into the Diamond Dawgs cause this is a pretty special team. Need more arms but who doesn’t?

Georgia fans will massively support any sport that puts a decent product on the field/court.  When baseball is competitive, Foley is packed.  When basketball is decent, the Steg is packed.  Even tennis draws good crowds.  When gymnastics was good, the meets were sellouts.

I will never understand how the UGA/BM admin have allowed baseball and basketball to be as bad as they have been historically.  UGA and the state of Georgia have plenty of resources for Georgia to be competing for championships in every sport every year.  I understand that football is the driver of revenue and I understand why more resources go to football, but that doesn't mean the other sports need to be completely ignored.

This baseball team isn't going to dominate with pitching, but the bats are strong enough to bail out the pitchers.
