AJC

I grew up with the AJC and subscribed for many years.    I cancelled as it became smaller and less relevant.    In trying to read the online version, it is utterly awful.   They clearly hate UGA and seem to be more opinion than fact on most issues.   I miss Furman Bisher.   And Lewis.  And Celestine.

Blame Congress and Barry for signing their Smith Mundt act.

I cancelled my sub a couple of years ago when that one "journalist" kept trying to get Kirby fired by writing flame pieces over the wreck and other stuff. Now I only look at it for headlines and search twitter for better versions of the stories. The UGA beat reporter they had writing stories last year hadn't even graduated from UGA yet. I know that the print journalism business is tough, but clearly that thing has been mismanaged for years. Not even printing paper copies anymore and solely relying on online subscriptions.

Low rent, inbred trailer trash of the lowest order, IMO.

By the time the internet destroyed most of the circulation of the AJC, it had already descended into a worthless left wing rag. It certainly didn’t appeal to many of us who grew up reading it.

They lost me when they started to cater to the group that no longer represented my ideals.    I can’t mention that group here.

I listened to WSB for the first time in 5-6 years yesterday.    I was shocked.    It was almost hard to believe.   Never again.

I guess they are trying to appeal to the broadest audience possible in the ATL.

Funny thing about that, most of that demo of folks it would appeal to don't read the paper or listen to WSB either.
