ATHENS, Ga. --- University of Georgia men's tennis Associate Head Coach Bryce Warren was named the ITA Southeast Regional Assistant Coach of the Year, while senior Will Jansen received ITA Most Improved Player and freshman Noah Johnston was named ITA Rookie of the Year.  The Bulldogs had much growth and success in Warren's third season as Associate Head Coach.  Georgia was consistently ranked within the top 15, hosted the first and second rounds of NCAA Regionals and advanced to its first Super Regional since 2023. 

ATHENS, Ga. - University of Georgia All-America catcher Daniel Jackson has been named a finalist for the 2026 Golden Spikes Award, USA Baseball announced Wednesday. Jackson, the 2026 Southeastern Conference (SEC) Player of the Year and Triple Crown winner, is one of just three players (and first catcher) in NCAA Division I history to have at least 30 home runs and 25 stolen bases in a season. Currently, Jackson, a 6-2, 200-pound native of Sandy Springs, Ga., is batting .396 with 31 home runs, 86 RBIs, and 26 stolen bases. He ranks in the top five nationally in five offensive categories. Fan voting will again play a part in the Golden Spikes Award. Baseball fans can vote for their favorite players on GoldenSpikesAward.com, beginning today with the naming of the finalists and ending on June 28.
