the great Cooper Rush instead? They have QB woes, no shit, and passed on our guy. 
Not sure if true but, hate it if so. Saw pretty much every snap of Bennett's preseasons since drafted and I can't understand why he isn't getting some looks. 
Also read that Bennett has been running the 1st team when Stafford took a practice off as veterans tend to do in camp.
Ty Simpson was running the 2nd unit. 

So those statements seem to contradict.

Don't the Rams control him? He's under contract, so they'd have to trade for him, but if they had him going with the 1s Sunday to give Stafford the day off, it seems they may like him better than Simpson right now, if for no other reason that he knows the playbook.

Stet is running the first team for the Rams right now with Staffy pants taking it easy.  Stet may get cut in late August, but he could not have been picked up by the coons.  That being said, they should trade for him and make him the starter.
