I guess I hate that she died for her friends and family, but her death isn't affecting me in any way.

I was never a big fan of her music. I did admire her work ethic and her generosity.

What death of someone you didn't personally know affected you the most?

For me, it was the death of JFK. For about a week after his death, the sky's were grey, it was dreary outside, and people all over the place were in noticeable mourning, and many ladies were crying openly. I was a second grader, and really didn't understand everything going on at the time.

What death of someone you didn't personally know affected you the most?

Not to be THAT guy, but OTD and GaSpiderDawg's son.  

Been a part of this community for about 24 years now.  Only met a few, but there's something sad about hearing about someone passing.  The OTD news was simply out of the blue, and he was such a personality.  

Then when I read the post about one of GaSpiderDawg's sons, I won't pretend it didn't have me in tears.  As a father of a teenager, only maybe a few years younger than his boys I think, that hits home.  And not ashamed to say if I'd heard that story face to face, I'd just give him a hug.  

I wasn't around for the tragedy for TEE's boy.  I heard about it after the fact.  Some things a parent shouldn't have to go through.
