Pled guilty and charges reduced to reckless driving essentially.

The reckless driving charge is pretty common. I see that a lot on MVRs where people were initially charged with DUI. They plead to reckless driving to avoid having a DUI on their record. Reckless driving is viewed just as seriously as an offense as DUI, but it comes off of someone's record in three years instead of seven for most insurance companies.

5 year license suspension is a pretty strong punishment.

New endorsement deal with Uber?

Probably the right thing to do for both Tiger's sake and the general public, to be honest.

It appears that Tiger unfortunately inherited his father's Black genetic tendency towards fast driving and his mother's Asian genetic tendency to be a poor driver.

Boo-ha! Just another case of The MAN holding a brother back, Jack.

Often there are exceptions to a total & complete removal of driving privileges. I read that he must have a breath interlock on his vehicles if any are still roadworthy.

His new nickname is 'Danica' Woods. Tongue

When my son was caught underage drinking years ago, they dropped the automatic DUI to reckless driving but the fines to Fort Oglethorpe were the same as if it were a DUI. The charge also followed him into the Army where hewas not allowed to go through Ranger school.
He ended up up serving his hitch in the 173rd Airborne stationed in Northern Italy, 30 miles or so from Venice, and never got deployed. He spent many if not most of his weekends and leave time touring historical sites and museums in Italy, Germany & France.
