Siri alert for you old guys (Like Me)…..who

·       May not know
·       I got up to 240 pounds at one point about 14 years ago
·       Suffice to say, I started walking in the mornings and dieting……….
·       I’m 74 new and weigh about 138 these days…..a size 52 waste to a loose-fitting size 34
·       During the summer, I walk early to beat the heat……….
·       I’m often out between 4:40 and 5:00 a.m.……I went 5.2 miles this morning as an example
·       I did not take my cell phone with me….which drove my wife and daughter crazy…..
·       The dang thing was just to bulky…and who was going to call me at that of day anyway…….
·       I live in the High Foothills of the Blue Ridge (Lenoir, NC) for goodness sake…….
·       Further, there is nobody out there that early……and the occasional street person is in such bad shape……
·       Suffice to say, they either don’t know I’m there or even an old guy like me could defend themselves against these pitiful folks
·       What was the answer to all this?
·       An Apple wristwatch……
·       It times my miles, alerts people if I fall, has all the temperature/humidity/heartrate functions/etc.
·       It also has Siri
·       Siri can tell me out loud what the score of the games were the night before/stock market info/etc.
·       I talk with Siri a good bit these days…
·       Right before I go to bed, I talk to Siri though my cell phone….
·       Temperature stuff/etc.
·       I knew today was the first with college football…
·       Just for the heck of it, I asked Siri what ball games were being played today
·       Dang if she didn’t come up, tell me the games/times/networks……
·       I know it is easier to look up and read most times……..but Siri will also tell you out loud
·       So, if you are a clueless old guy like me…….Siri can tell you/Just FYI
