Couple of interesting stats about the Super Bowl that I have read.

This is the 23rd straight Super Bowl with at least one UGA football player on one of the teams.  This year there are 5.

KC has Mecole Hardman and Malik Harring.
SF has Robert Beal Jr., Chris Conley, and Charlie Woerner.

There are no Alabama players on either roster, so another streak will continue.  No Alabama football player has EVER scored a point in the Super Bowl.  Players from 143 other schools from Coast Guard (1) to Miami (84) have scored in Super Bowls.  Georgia is currently 7th all time with players having scored 61 points in the Super Bowl so far.  Terrell Davis leads the pack with 3 TDs in Super Bowl XXXII.

Zero, but it’s inconsequential.  At least 1 player in the game is all it takes to continue this streak.  No idea if there’s a streak involving both teams.

Stabler - 1 TD 1 appearance
Starr - 3 TDs in two SBs
Namath - 0 TDs 1 appearance (kind of surprised by this one)
Nathan - 0 TDs 2 appearances
