Let’s be honest. These sideline interviews are an annoyance.

I agree they are annoying but Sark and other Power 4 conference coaches are very well paid and putting up with that annoyance is part of what they are paid to do.

I hope Sark gets fined for being an asshole.

Doubtful.  I worked with the ESPN crew last night, during both halftime and end game interviews there were technical issues and mis-prioritizing other camera angles and interviews that kept Sark waiting 2+ minutes each time. As a longhorn fan and someone who was physically right there and saw it all, his reaction was more than valid

Agreed, been saying it for years.  It adds nothing to the coverage.

Agree- that is just one aspect of what I dislike about TV coverage of college football games, but you should never brush off Queen Holly IMO!

If the coaches hate it that bad, they should quit and get a job that doesn't require that. Sark is, and always has been, a total ahole. If being an ahole would get him fired, he would have been fired a long time ago.

I agree the sideline interviews add nothing, but they are part of the job.

The appeal of Holly Rowe is totally lost on me.  She looks like Miss Piggy and she doesn't bring anything that a hot sideline reporter doesn't bring.

I can see some of that, but she was sort of a favorite before the cancer thing.  If people like her, fine, but, like I said, the appeal is lost on me.

Ms. Rowe is the anti- Phyllis George; there's no reason to endure a woman with a microphone if you wouldn't want to see her O -face.
