ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia soccer returns home for two straight fixtures at Turner Soccer Complex, beginning with Friday's match against Texas A&M. The Bulldogs and Aggies are facing off for the fifth-consecutive season, with A&M making its first trip to Athens since 2017. Georgia's starting lineup has been proficient throughout the season at giving the Bulldogs early leads, posting a first half goal in all but two matches. The Bulldogs have scored first in eight of their 11 matches, with five of those goals coming in the opening 10 minutes of play. Georgia will also look to turn leads into eventual victories, having tied or lost in six matches in which the team has held the lead.
ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia volleyball closes out its four-match home stand this weekend, hosting the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Oklahoma Sooners at Stegeman Coliseum. The Bulldogs square off against Arkansas on Friday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. then faces off against Oklahoma on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. After wrapping up a four-match homestand, the Bulldogs hit the road for four straight matches beginning next weekend at Mississippi State and Alabama. Georgia takes on the Bulldogs from Starkville on Friday, Oct. 9, then travels to Tuscaloosa for a matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Sunday, Oct. 11.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The Georgia women's tennis team concluded its first day of competition at the Battle in the Bay Classic, posting two singles wins and two doubles victories on Thursday at the California Tennis Club. Patricija Paukstyte and Nadia Lagaev each earned straight-set singles victories to advance to the Round of 16 in singles.
Anastasiia Gureva and Ava Rodriguez teamed up to secure an 8-2 doubles victory over Loyola Marymount's Ada Piestrzynska and Yelyzaveta Chainykova. Paukstyte and Lagaev advanced in doubles after edging Purdue's Reese Frank and Nehir Dogan, 8-7(4).
