[*]Special Teams Summary
[*]Special Teams Summary
Senior PK Peyton Woodring scored eight points on one FG and five PATs plus he took care of the kickoffs. A native of Lafayette, La., he is a three-time Lou Groza Award semifinalist. In the win over #24 OU, he made a couple of field goals from 40+ yards and set the SEC and Georgia record for Consecutive PATs Made in a career. Currently, he is 206-for-206. The old marks belonged to Rodrigo Blankenship (200). The NCAA mark for Consecutive PATs made is 233 (Alex Trilca, Texas Tech). I kept telling my son it would be an all time Georgia record each time he kicks.
Junior Drew Miller posted a 44.0 average on two punts, landing one inside the 20 (at the 5).
