No Doc. You can't "help".

It becomes an unavoidable fact of life after 50. Trust me, I have tried to avoid Dr. Jellyfinger and my Doc is a female. Somehow that doesn't make it less inhumane

Prep is worse than the procedure. Mostly because you're asleep

It's the prep that'll get ya.

Can I at least film it? The drugs are great and I like getting "cleaned out" erry now and then. Saw your med post. Total cholesterol should be under 200 and LDL (bad) 130 and under.

You already had one? You haven’t hit 50 yet. Did you have to (simple yes or no will suffice)? Or are you just into that sort of thing? If so, I know a peckerlip that might want to meet you.

Don't. I am in good health now, just have to keep a close eye on things.

You got a female doc that sticks her fanger up yer chute?
I switched to a female doc a few years back and she doesn't axe me to cough or give the fanger at physical.  Male doc did, tho.

I've had 2. Total nothing imo. Worst part to me is the not being able to eat for the day before and morning of, I'm starving when I get through with it. The prep isn't terrible, whole prep thing takes about 4 hours or so and if the stuff you drink is cold it isn't too bad.

The dread of the first one was much worse than the actual prep and procedure.

I used to work in an Endoscopy unit and been involved in probably thousands of EGDs and colonoscopies.
TAKE MY ADVICE….if your procedure is scheduled for Friday, for example, most docs are going to instruct you to start a “clear diet” on Thursday morning. Don’t. Instead, start the clear liquid diet on Wednesday morning or lunch. By the time you take the colon prep, you’ll have mostly liquid in your colon and it’ll be a wet breeze getting through the prep!
You’ll thank me later.

Like others have said already, it is the prep that is the unpleasant part. You'll find out (and how), so no need for me to describe it.

Of course, then there's that dream/vision-thing everybody always has, where the woman from Wisconsin is talking to you as you are coming back from anesthesia, and then...   Angel

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the witness for this proper time.

Acts 4:12

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
