College athletics (football in particular) much like an addict, will have to hit absolute rock bottom before it realizes something has to be done. The two most high profile corches in the game have warned of impending doom. One of the problems is - who is in charge of fixing it? The NCAA? Nobody even pays attention to anything they say these days.
