Not yet.  Had a recruiter contact me about a position last week with them, threw may name in the hat and waiting to hear back.

We gonna have a catch match to fight out who gets this one?  Big Grin

Nah, my daughter got hired there recently and starts in a week or so.  I was just wondering what it's like working for what's basically a utility company.

I retired in 2007, worked at Plant Branch. It and many other of the coal fired plants are completely gone now. I hired on in the mid-70s and it was a great company to work for then. It changed from having the "family" feel to being a part of big corporate America and became a good company to work for. I still think it a good place to work if you are going to work for a big company.

Casino (wifey) retired from them about 19 years ago. Her whole family except for one sister, worked there. Always have believed it to be a good company to work for. Hope you get the gig.

My wife was offered a position with them about 20 years ago. She said no but heard from several folks they were a good company to work for.

My Florida friend works for them. They are about like every other big company. The job security is better than average and so are the bonuses according to him. So it likely depends on what division you are in, department, and manager in terms of individual experience.
