OK OK .... a ten part original post and 9 history tangents on Natural Wonder #106. I know it's a bit overkill, but I wanted to give a best shot at capturing a post on the swamps of Chatham County for a natural wonder, and the early colonial history in one tangent post. Then we took two tangents to really cover Savannah's long role in the Revolutionary War. An antebellum tangent was supplemented by an additional post on just the origination of the Squares of Savannah, all before the Civil War. We covered the next hundred years of Savannah, with additional tangents on Tourism and the Cemetery's, which brings us to our final tangent post #10, famous people from Chatham County and Savannah. This freaking list is enormous and deserves a separate and appropriate final post on Natural Wonder #106.
