With the upcoming shortage of doctors and nurses, it's going to get worse.

I meditated for 10 minutes and was able to put my feelings on a leaf in a stream and let them float away. I am calm now.

Just wait. When all these DEI docs start killing patients left and right because they aren't qualified to be a dogcatcher, much less a Doctor we will really be in some deep waters.

Wait til all the primary care providers are Nurse Practitioners that only have a small percentage of their patient files reviewed by a real Physician.

After the COVID thing, I don't trust anyone in the medical profession.  If I get told I need something like at my physical, I do my own research on the pros and cons before agreeing to anything.  And I try natural treatments before any kind of medication.

Regarding the shortage of Nurses and MD's, we are at least getting a med school at UGA and one here in Savannah as well. Dental school going up in the 'Boro too.

My newest book arrived in yesterday's mail.  27 chapters on different topics that it is likely your doctor is not up to date on at best, stuck in his opinion (and pocketbook) at worst.

Dr. Ken Berry is a big supporter of a Keto or Carnivore diet.

My doc put me on hydrochlorothiazide to help with blood pressure meds. I was sure that medicine is what is makaing me pee all the time. When i went back for annual visit I asked him about stopping that med because of of the increase in frequency of urination...having to pee all the time. H told me it was not a factor. I'm fly fock confused. Mayo Clinic online says it's a water pill that increases unrination. Undecided

I've printed out articles several times to take to my GP when they say something different  than what he tells me.
He's a super nice guy and listens politely to what I say and says he'll read the articles I hand him.. but sometimes I get the feeling he'd like to fire me as a patient.   Wink

My Goal is to read at least one chapter a day.  I read the foreword and preface last night.
Tonight Chapter One is titled,  "Trust in God, not your doctor"
