Sounds like another reason they went after the UF portal RB so diligently…besides the fact he would be a talented addition to the team in any case.

There is never a guarantee that anyone who suffers that injury will be able to fully recover and play college football at the same level he was playing at before the injury. However, I hope he has a good chance to at least give it a go.
