Haha.  You are right.  One fresh egg probably cost less than a penny back then.  A little more labor in that deviled egg than a couple of hot dogs, but still, that is a high margin item right there.  Begs the question, does a whole egg constitute one "deviled egg" or just half an egg for 20 cents?

When I was a student, I ate 3 Varsity Chili Dawgs before running the old Turkey Trot. Needless to say, I was forced to run fast and turned in one of my best 5K times every.

Sadly, that course was the very same where the young lady was just murdered last week. (didn't intend to post that...but, it just hit me)
