what do you guys use for home defense

I am looking to upgrade.  Have a .45, .38, 9mm.  Looking for tactical shotgun and maybe high capacity SBR.

Benn thinking of buying a gun for home protection, likely two. Thinking shotgun is best for home defense.....shock value and don't have to aim too well

Still gotta aim. At distances under 15 feet, 12 GA 00 Buckshot won’t have spread more than 2 or 3 inches. Even at 40 feet the shot won’t have spread more than 5 or 6 inches with quality ammunition.


The real plus with 00 Buckshot is, properly aimed, is multiple wound tracks that stops a threat to your family faster.  Of course, the cleanup of bad guy blood is more extensive.
