I was a freshman. IIRC; Buck broke his ankle on his first series on the field. That '79 season sucked in so many ways. The UVA game (homecoming) is still one of the worst beatings I've ever seen a Georgia team take. We looked like we had no idea how to play the game.

The win over LSU was definitely the high point.
